Fireflies dance through the space; a single drop becomes a ripple of light. At Kazerne, the exhibition Embodied Energy, Vibrant Relations invites you to pause and reflect on what is constantly in motion.
With Under a Firefly Sky, Studio Toer brings the magic of a warm summer evening indoors. Points of light drift like fireflies, letting you lose yourself in their playful dance for a while. In The Ripple, Studio Koen Steger and Atelier Hendriksen turn a falling drop of water into a quiet, meditative play of light and shadow.
The materials tell a story too: Aga Blonska creates a lamp from material produced by bacteria, while parts of old screens get a new life as lighting.
Embodied Energy, Vibrant Relations is a group exhibition featuring more than fifty designers exploring the visible and invisible relationships behind objects. Come and see how light opens up new perspectives on material, nature and change.
